The Brave - Daring, different, delicious. The Brave shows off what specialty coffee handled the right way can be. If you're ready to take your coffee game to the next level, or love what lightly roasted coffee handled by professionals can be, you might be ready to take the step on this coffee. The Brave blend doesn't taste like coffee that has had its real flavor burned off, sat on shelves for months, or comes out of a tiny little plastic cup. Roasted to perfection freshly in small batches. Great for any preparation method. If you want our recommendation, try it with a pour over.
Bright and fruity notes. Light roasted. Always specialty grade.
12 oz. (340g)
Blend origins: Ethiopia, Peru, and Guatemala
Allergen notice: No nuts, just natural flavors that taste kind of like nuts.
I brought a bag of MFC Brave blend with me on vacation to visit family. My 90 year old grandma has been drinking coffee since before I can remember and she always drinks the same couple blends. We brewed the MFC and Gram poured some. She was talking about something, took a sip mid-sentence, and cut herself off by exclaiming, "wow, this is GOOD!" We all cackled at the timing, and this story circled the family the entire vacation. It says something about the taste of this blend if it causes my grandmother to exclaim its deliciousness and then forget what she was talking about!
This coffee is delicious and takes my mind off colonialism & dark thoughts… until Ian Hecox reminds me of them.
The flavor and roast level is good.
However shipping is 75% of the cost of a bag of coffee. If the subscribe option was chosen it would be the same price as a bag of the coffee. Other roasters usually charge around 6.00 to ship. Most of them if you order 2 or more bags ship for free.
I really love trying new blends of coffee and I was very pleased with the flavor of the Brave blend. I could easily drink it everyday and not get sick of it. It works with many different ways of drinks as well.
The best and most flavorfull coffee I have ever had, I enjoy a pot made in my french press every morning.
